But this time I want to end up with the best possible result. So if you have a complete watch, an unfinished project or some great parts please send me a PM and make my dream come true. janeto72 Posted May 13, 2012 Report Share Posted May 13, 2012 here are the specs: gen domed tropic 21 crystal gen bezel gen dial gen hand set gen pushers gen tube gen crown gen caseback gen 571 endlinks gen 78350 bracelet gen serviced valjoux 72 movement I have aso called japanese case; but am not sure how good it really is.If it doesn't pan out with this case I try the DW case and Phong's case.I also have the ability to seal the holes in the cases and redrill/retap them to fit gen endlinks....... Nicely engraved DW case set for V72 with a good exotic dial (black sub dials, even if the dial feet don't line up with the V72). The V72 from ebay turned out to be actually nicer than it looked on the ebay pics and runs like a charm. Now trying to put it all together the problems started First the large second hand disappeared (don't ask, but somebody might have a broken arm one day...) and the DW sub seconds hands don't fit at all. So now my cry for help: does anybody have a handset that will fit (size and color)? If yes - and especially if you are in CONUS please send me a PM. Thank you in advance.
