letibjorn Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Looks like they rep the P.2002 Calibre. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wey4jk-Kceo&feature=plcp More pic http://etatw2011.com/Product_Show.asp?ID=7314
dow Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 What! I'm sceptical, but ready to be proven wrong.
51NGH Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Amazing, I really hope so! This is the guy that send a rubber penis with his watches, though 1
Jkay Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 OH IT"S ON ... from the lack of ink in some of the engraved letters, I am more likely to believe it's a replica.
FxrAndy Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Looks like a DG2183 based balance wheel and regualating arms, so dont be expecting 8 days power reserve, and also there is a reliabilty point to concider, but if it is prices at DG prices or just above then why not, but if this takes on rolex clone 2836 prices (which are shit) then fugedaboutit.

asciwhite Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 -------------- My bank account is trembling as we speak 1
Jurgenk Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 That was three languages. Didn't realize the movement cloning was still happening in Taiwan-- This is some high end rep stuff. Feel somewhat better about buying from a country that is not at economic war with the west. This is definitely happening
Faber Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 bring tears to my eyes...back on the game...uhhuuuuu 2
StormTooper4 Posted May 16, 2012 Report Posted May 16, 2012 Holy Mackerel thats a pleasant surprise , Nice find Gen http://www.watchtime.at/archive/wt_2006_01/WT_2006_01_056.pdf Hope they can get the watches right that it goes with
Rolexman Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Woooooooooow I want to take one apart!!!! Curious when out TDs will get them....
TheBattler Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Looks really good, with very minor revisions it looks like it can get as close as an a6497. One of the mods is to trim one of the bridges to show more gear and the gear next to the word "barrel" should be gold plated. Easy fixes. Since this is a cheap 21j base, I hope the savings are passed to us. I'd guesstimate around $300 for a clone P2002 watch. Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using Tapatalk 2
chillininla Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 The Pam reps keep getting better and better!!
trackpack Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 I'm so happy!! This is amazing! Never thought it would come so soon or be this close on the first try!!
rangers158 Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Isnt the size kind of small compared to the gen? Totally inaccurate and I am wondering how are they going top cover the gaos between the movement and the case.
projectologist Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 Isnt the size kind of small compared to the gen? Totally inaccurate and I am wondering how are they going top cover the gaos between the movement and the case. OP fills the gap with a movement ring. Also, the solid area of their display back is wide enough that it covers that area between movement and inner case.
RickHiC Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 No no no no. No. I haven't bought a rep in almost a year. Now I am ruined. Wife is going to be [censored]...
PaulVanDyk Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 (edited) Isnt the size kind of small compared to the gen? Totally inaccurate and I am wondering how are they going top cover the gaos between the movement and the case. it might not be dead on 1:1 as far as looks go but definitely FAR better than that hideous A7750 movement they use in new versions with see through caseback models. actually that shitty looking A7750 was the only thing holding me back from buying any of the 312's and such Edited May 17, 2012 by PaulVanDyk
TheBattler Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 it might not be dead on 1:1 as far as looks go but definitely FAR better than that hideous A7750 movement they use in new versions with see through caseback models. actually that A7750 was the only thing holding me back from buying any of the 312's and such The 7750s in the Auto Pams are not as bad as you think. Many aspects are correct. The size is completely 1:1, the rotor looks excellent and everything is more or less in the right place. It is missing that base plate obviously but the P9000 movement is built on a 7750 ebauche. I just think at around $300 they are good value for a new a7750 based watch. The rumors are they will rep the movement but who knows? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using Tapatalk 2
