drill bit size to drill lugs for gen 2.0 mm spring bars?

Hi everyone,

i'm going over to the hardware store to pick up some drill bits to drill out my lugs to 2.0 mm ....can you guys tell me what size drill bit i need ?

The end of the springbars are 1.2mm, so I use a 1.25mm drill bit.

I bought the #55 drill, which is 1.32mm heh. these drill bits are hard to find in hardware stores

If I'm not mistaken I've seen some post of members who drill them at 1.3mm

I use the #55 cobalt drill bit from Snap-On Tools. Like Praetor says, this ain't off the shelf stuff.

1.25mm for me

I drilled mine to 1.3mm because it was the only bit size that I could order. Just dont go any bigger than 1.3 because it will start to look funny.
