Watchmeister Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Looks great but I still prefer the bracelet.

ubiquitous Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Man, that is sweet! After seeing this one, I may have to get me an Ingy!!
shultz Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Aaaaargh, Maciek you're killing me!!!!! What a nice combo I received my Inge one week ago and that strap could be my next purchase.
FxrAndy Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 That is definatly creeping into my list, was the kevlar very expencive or just plain expencive?
thelawnmowerman Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Can you enlighten us as to where you sourced this beauty from?
Rolexman Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Nice strap, nice watch but I'd rather see it on your girlfriend
rocket754 Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 very nice. It adds some sport the watch.
Estaban Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 I just read the headline--It's a gen strap and buckle. Too rich for my blood. $200 for the strap and $65 for the buckle. I'll see if Aaron Tan can make one.
mikellem Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Looks very nice Maciek! I assume this was a custom strap? -MM
Guest Sql_pl Posted November 21, 2006 Report Posted November 21, 2006 Yes, it is a genuine IWC strap and buckle. I wanted to get one for quite some time but when I visited my IWC AD they quoted me around $650 (!!) for the strap and buckle combo. Decided it was too much. But the other day I was brwsing TZ sales corner and found an ad with an Ingenieur for sale - as a bonus there was a new Kevlar strap added. I emailed the seller and asked if he would like to part with the strap and buckle alone and we made a deal. Got it pretty cheap so I am more than happy! Cheers!

Hope I can source a good deal for one as well.

lello Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Hi, I'm planning to produce a datewheel for this IWC with correct font. If anyone could supply to me some good pics of the real one, I would appreciate it. I have a couple of pics, but I can only see 1-2-6 numbers. I made a research, but I didn't find this font anywhere and so, I'm designing it by myself. To nake it accurate I need some more references. Can anyone help? Thank you, -- Lello.
torresp Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Thank for your proposal Lello, I'll try to colect all pics from the Ingy datewheel to help you. I think that what we are expecting to make the best rep of the year...

Hi Frank, yesterday I received my strap and it's superb (and no worry about the bracelet). The buckle is the same like portuguese so my AD sent and brushed SS buckle instead the TI (the standard with amg strap). Spanish prices are 190eur for the strap and 65 for the bucke, expensive but worth the money. quick shot with my treo:
Estaban Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 Lello, Here are some BIG pictures. http://www.chronometrie.com/sihh2005/iwc/I...tic_AMGfull.jpg http://www.chronometrie.com/sihh2005/iwc/I...tomaticfull.jpg

Would still need a buckle. I love the bracelet anyways. When it breaks I'll get the strap and buckle.
torresp Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 @Lello: 1,2,4,6,8 from a AMG dial (is the same font): Plus: Hope this helps

When it breaks I'll get the strap and buckle. Good price but the OEM strap has steel end links inside the strap to fit and continue the curvature of the case. Buckle could be order to our dealers b/c is the same like the portuguese...
