HauteHippie Posted December 24, 2006 Author Report Posted December 24, 2006 Please count me in for 2. One AR and one non-AR if available. This will be use on a 063. BTW first post. Thanks Non-AR only. I'm not having any coated. The best time and place for this is after having installed it so that the entire crystal with the cyclops can be coated together. On PAM models that didn't have AR on the crystal, the cyclops shouldn't have AR either.
sammalone Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 If it's not too late, I'm down for 2, maybe 3...........Thanks for all of your hard work in creating this project! Please let me know when, and to whom to send payment....THANKS AGAIN
evgyrt Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Hi Like to order a few if I only knew how to replace them. Could you give me that info. and i would be ordering 3 pcs. best evgyrt
HauteHippie Posted January 4, 2007 Author Report Posted January 4, 2007 Not too late for anyone!!! A minor delay came from the manufacturer late last week when they decided I needed to tweak the specs. I have done so, and resubmitted so things are back on track... Hopefully we will see these this month, but if not, probably early February. As far as installation goes, I highly recommend an experienced watchsmith.
evgyrt Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 Ok, thanks Will heating do it....? evgyrt
HauteHippie Posted January 6, 2007 Author Report Posted January 6, 2007 Ok, thanks Will heating do it....? evgyrt Heat and a razor blade. Yep.
HauteHippie Posted January 6, 2007 Author Report Posted January 6, 2007 Some updates have been posted back at the top of the thread in the initial post. FYI!
HauteHippie Posted January 6, 2007 Author Report Posted January 6, 2007 Chieftang, it would be great if your lens shop would reccomend the best adhesive for both glass and sapphire... They recommend a product called "Crystal Clear" by Duro.
nelly Posted January 10, 2007 Report Posted January 10, 2007 Chieftang, As per our PM count me in for 3
Watchmeister Posted January 11, 2007 Report Posted January 11, 2007 Put me down for 10. Very much looking forward to it.
TK471 Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Man, somehow I lost track of this thread for several weeks. It's good to see that the project is moving forward nicely. Hypothetically speaking, if a friend had an appointment with a certain Canadian watchmaster in early to mid-February, let's call him Twiggy, do you think I-- er-- my friend, might have the cyclops in time?

Hypothetically speaking, if a friend had an appointment with a certain Canadian watchmaster in early to mid-February, let's call him Twiggy, do you think I-- er-- my friend, might have the cyclops in time? Well, I can certainly ship directly to Rob for you. There was a slight delay about a week ago when I had to slightly modify the specs based on the lens shop's feedback. But after I resubmitted the updated specs they told me that they would expedite the job. We'll just see. They should arrive in line with your timeframe. Of course, if there is any manufacturing mistake or other issues with the cyclopes when they arrive, then all bets are off. Cross your fingers and just hope for the best!
Watchmeister Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 My fingers are crossed and I am hoping for the best.
dluddy Posted January 13, 2007 Report Posted January 13, 2007 Hey Chief. I'm in for 3. Let me know how, when and how much to pay
shultz Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 I am hoping for the best. Me too! It would be great to receive the new cyclops flawless and soon to bring the ar coating project forward.
