So many familiar names... so many fond memories of the forum... mostly a long time lurker... it's been a while... sad to read about Neil... thanks for the memories... amazing the progress that's been made in "out of box" quality... but as everyone said, the mods were what made the hobby so much fun... searching for a lil motivation for a new timepiece. Hi folks! It's been a while....trying to catch up with all I've missed on the forums. Did a search for this answer...but nothing found. Does anyone know if a non-ceramic "classic" GMT (coke or pepsi) insert would fit the new GMT with the ceramic bezel. Visually, the ceramic insert appears wider....but not sure...THANKS

Make sure the address you get from ebay matches the address she has listed on paypal. Tell her you are going to get law enforcement involved. If she still does not provide the refund, file a formal complaint to her local police precinct as she may have done this to many others. I hate stories like this, greed has ruined Ebay. If she sells fake bags, there are plenty of venues to do so on the internet, like ioffer, ...instead of ripping someone off saying it's real. Good Luck with this hassle!

I'm not sure which particular models have this on the movement. I have seen several at the AD without this designation on the movement...pretty much exactly as our reps are. Not sure when this change started.

It's now very difficult to do high priced transactions with paypal. They will freeze your account for no reason....very scary, especially if you already sent out the item and now cannot access the funds until the receiver leaves positive payback, or at times even longer than 21 days. I guess paypal has been burned in the past, so their solution is to burn everyone else now. Not a big fan of Paypal.....too many horror stories!

Great project, long overdue, would love to add it to my Navi. The closest font I have come across is in Microsoft Word, called Eurostile, it's not 100%, but it's close, the width may need to be slightly adjusted.

No reason to publicly stone him for something any of us could have accidentally done ourselves. No worries, it happens, we don't want anyone to be traumatized about entering an AD. In the grand scheme of things, it's no big deal, the replies here are more for the sake of new onlookers. We have a wonderful hobby, and are truly spoiled by the quality of these reproductions. Wear em' proud!
