TimeStopper45
Ive always been an Omega (Seamaster 300m) fan. But I recently started loving the look of the Tag Monaco as well as the Omega Planet Ocean watches especially after the new ceramic reps came out. The last rep I purchased was a Seamaster 300M Chrono which I love so this time I will getting a watch that I will wear with a rubber or leather strap. After days of searching, I have narrowed it down to the following two choice: 1. Tag Heuer Monaco Mikrograph (quartz with working chrono) - $148+shipping QC photo from Andrew's site 2. Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 42mm Ceramic (black) - $328+shipping Photo by cougar1 Please give me some constructive opinions on this one. Thanks! Legend
The Monaco looks pretty cool, you're gonna get a fair bit of attention from it. I am not familiar with TAG but its a darn cool looking watch. The PO is a classic one, you cannot go wrong with it.
dieselpower
PO, a classic never goes out of style.

martijnp
I'll go with everybody else, choose the PO. It's a great watch!
icoopernicus
Is that a fantasy Monaco? Of the two watches you have shown, Ceramic Planet Ocean all the way! Find a good rep of the Monaco chronograph and we're having a whole new conversation.
UmpaHimself
PO for sure. I have it and love it.
cougar1
Yeah definitely a PO in this case, the monaco reps around are not the best quality, ...a good monaco rep is badly needed, but like a proper speedy rep may never happen. Always been movement fit issues unfortunately. Edited February 21, 2013 by cougar1

icoopernicus
I need a couple more of those fat OT paycheques to justify picking up the new Ceramic PO, 45mm, swap the case back out if a correct one becomes available and grab me a crystal from Sunny. I've been looking at everyones pics as they have been arriving and damn, I want one pretty bad!
panerai153
Not a particular fan of either, however the Monaco is pretty interesting. the PO is to me just another black face dive watch. however in the end, I tend to think that the WOW factor of the Tag will fade while the PO will still be a well liked watch. i would have to vote for the PO
