Gentlemen,

Could I trouble someone more knowledgeable than I to take a look at the photo and tell me if the watch is a Gen or Rep please.  I'm quickly reading as much as possible but would appreciate an experts advice in the mean time.

Cheers,

Chris

Thank you gentlemen... it is being sold as a Gen on a local trading site but it didn't look right to me.

This Forum is amazing!

Replica, a bad one...

Hands, dial, bracelet, case, bezel, all with flaws.

its people like you, armed with such knowledge, who amaze me, honestly.

To me, it looks good. Can you please share whats wrong with the parts you mentioned, so I can learn a little please?

Thank you kindly in advance!

engraving inside the case is wrong , the engraving angle is wrong. the bezel insert is for gmt 2c but the dial and hands are for gmt 2 non ceramic. the mag is total wrong size.

The whole thing is a cheap pice which is like $30 china dollars...

Wow, this one is Baaaad. As said above a rep IIC bezel/insert (and a bad one at that) The dial is terrible, the plots look like donuts the surrounds are so thick, the watch is obviously a cheap 16710 with a 116710 bezel/insert. Plus about a dozen other "tells".

Call the seller and tell him you are really interested n his watch, could he meet you at your local Rolex AD so they can have a quick look to veify the authenticity!! He'll probably hang up the phone, or give you about a million excuses why he can't meet you.I would love to hear that conversation!! ;)

I just reported the post as illegal.

Hopefully, it will save someone a little heartache.

All the flaws and tells have been mentioned apart from one other, that being the coronet on the crystal, its visible, its too big, and not even aligned at 6 correctly.
