The first coat is an anti-fish-eye coat

Guys once a Rep exceeds the 3-350 mark you can get Gen with ETA for 450- 500, they are pricing themselves out of the market IMHO.

 

I just sent URkuk a Glycine w/7750 for $500 I made no money but did break about even just passed on a good deal I got .

I'm late for the party, but how does it wear? I want wristies, since I'm waiting for my ocean one red. Not easy to get these steinharts, always sold out :-(

Not a wristie, but last month I met a friend who was wearing one.  Fantastic presence, though I wish Steinhart would spend a bit more for a less generic-looking clasp.

I checked their site yesterday I believe back ordered till after March if I read it right. The whole diver section is about sold out, think 2-3 available.

 

 

Ps by the way thanks for the pic this grows on me more and more every-time I see it.

I like some of Steinhart's designs but the last one I had, a Nav B Chrono, lacked that finishing touch. I felt that some high end reps were finished better. I guess this is why they are fairly cheap for a gen brand.....

The watch is beautiful, but why they would write "vintage" on the dial eludes me.

"OCEAN ONE" on the top and maybe a depth rating on the bottom would have looked a lot better IMHO
