TBH, they look like standard out of the box reps. They look good, just nothing extra to make the members stop and comment. To get much of a response you'd have to have done some mods to a rep or have a pic of the latest and greatest that everyone wanted but couldn't get because it sold out...

I'm afraid this RWG forum has rather expensive tastes! :)

Highly modified, frankened reps are the norm here. Well, they are for most members, the rest of us get normal reps and just drool at the watch porn that passes by here.

Welcome to the Drool Club! :D

The newer Ex2 looks to be a cartel model, bezel font is too big, DWO is oversized. They are decent other than those small issues.

Sorry, but wasn't an answer on the other forum enough?

Maybe I'm having one of those days, but, please, slow down and read awhile. This seems like a "QC pic check".

repexplorer I do not know what your goal/game is but jerking w/ the guys over at Gen forums with a Rep is not done, period.

(the internet world is smaller than you think when it comes to watches, on the ball Arctos :notworthy: )

So that's three Explorer 2s sittin in their boxes and a Casio for wearing to bingo cause you're scared the reps will get broken?

Have you ever looked at the risks we take in our daily lives?

The chance of getting run over by a bus : 1 in 500,000

Being fatally mauled by a dog : 1 in 147,717

Death by falling down : 1 in 246

Fatal motor vehicle accident : 1 in 100

And don't think that staying indoors will help much.

Fatal accident (DIY or similar) : 1 in 36

Stroke : 1 in 23

What about staying in bed? Nope. Stroke can still getcha. Also the biggest two killers ever:-

Cancer : 1 in 7

Heart disease : 1 in 5

And if you're depressed, well, that's not so bad really:-

Deaths by suicide : 1 in 121

So, overall, I'd put worrying about scratching a watch at the same level as an asteroid impact (1 in 200,000 ~ 500,000)

And don't be an [censored] and try and pass a rep off on a gen forum. You know, the forums where the nerdy OCD experts gather to compare the size of crown guards down to 1 thousandths of an inch.

Even the best of reps will get called out if you post pictures, when they are it's usually because the guys calling them out are from the Rep forums and know the tells way better than any Gen watch guy ever will. Especially stupid to post using the same forum name, dead giveaway.

Why worry what we think, its what you think cos you'll be wearing them.

I had the smaller Explorer 2 didn't work for me.  Had Steve McQueen regret selling it  , got the new Orange hand and really like it , not everyday mind you

This is an amusing post. First, the watches are average reps, but not anything special , second, if you posted these on a gen site, the biggest rule of collecting rep watches is to never ever post on a gen site and announce what lovely fakes you have. It creates much consternation and gnashing of teeth. No worries. we all make boo boo's. Learning from them is key. Best of luck in the future as you are armed with knowledge.

Take the advice of those who posted here. DO NOT POST FAKE WATCHES ON GEN FORUMS,PERIOD!!! :nono: Second, if you frequent gen forums, it's a lot better to have different user names for the gen forums. As mike said, those guys  are often the same folks who are frequenting the rep forums, some are here because they have both gen and rep watches, others, the rep haters are here , just to see what the rep folks are up to. If I  belong to a few different forums, how long do you think it takes for me to type your gen forum name into the "members" section here. If  I get a hit, I can visit your threads, and sure enough, there is the guy posting the same rep watches that he posted on the gen forum. I know you are new here, but even as a noob, you need to use a little common sense, and read the rules.

I use the same forum name on every single forum I'm a member of. Don't have anything to hide and I'm not trying to fool anyone about anything. (not saying that people that do use different names DO have stuff to hide, it's your own decision obviously)

Just use common sense, only discuss in a forum what that forum is about.

If anyone on WUS of TZ moans that I have reps I'll just say "Yes, and I have lots of gens too, and I'm talking about the gens in here."
