TC sub v6 pics added

Hey guys. Does anyone know if a gen crown will fit on TC v6 crown tube and stem or do I need to buy them as well?

Also, if I buy a gen crystal do I need to buy a different crystal gasket or will the one that TC uses work?

Hi, imo sort out the parts You want and where to get them but really wait until You get it before ordering some. It looks that good You might not need/want anything else.

I've never held TC v6 sub, but I think the advice that Nightwatch gave is sound. You should hold it in your hands before you decide to buy expensive aftermarket parts. From what I've seen in pics, they're pretty tough to improve upon.

 

That said, some of best members here have the frankenbug, and wouldn't consider any rep complete until they've had a chance to swap some gen parts

The only thing that TC suggests is to add a gen insert . Anything else imo is a waste of money.

Thanks for the input guys. Since it already has the gen insert installed I will see how I like it before going gen crystal and crown

Tony mine had gen crystal and crown installed also better aah marginal but gen is gen. (bezel gen of course)

How difficult are gen bezels to source?

I got lucky, guy from UK other RWG had one parts section in Rolex package scooped it up as I remember 145 shipped .

Mine tested 3 ATMs but I believe that's all the tester went up to.

Anyone know what it means when I try to wind it and the crown "slips". Like it's not catching the "teeth"?

Mine had the same problem and you need a new crown, it came that way from TC. buy I did not wanted to waste time. so I replaced it with a Gen one. Problem solved
