3 months ago, I had 3 watches. Bought a 4th one and decided to get a nice 12 slot case.

Now I feel like I have to fill it.

I'm up to 9 watches now having sold 2 recently.

I've been addicted to drugs before and this is a harder addiction! Lol

I somehow justify buying a $300 rep bc well... It's a lot cheaper than the $10k gen.

For some reason this means I should keep buying them.

I won't buy another case.

Like we are saying it an affliction. Same here had a 4 watch winder when I joined the forum, bought an 8 then had to fill it. Then both full so sold a few and gave my buddy the 4 winder. Now I have a deal with myself to only have 8 at a time. So when one is coming one goes on the sales board. Problem is sometimes they need work I can't do and that means sending them out. Then a empty slot is hard to look at so....think I have gone through 20+ pieces in six months. Tomorrow my GMT Franken will arrive and fill the last slot but my TC is out for repairs so something is going up for sale:) and I started sourcing parts for a 1016 build today and another DJ with Matt.

Well, looks like a common bug so

My receipt to move further is to try making from just a collecting hobby to something deeper like working on them (i.e. doing my watch service etc).

I bought this beautiful case at Acetimer, that is just 5 minutes drive from my house. Really beautiful rosewood case, big enough slots, and well made for $110.

Actually... Not sure I'll ever get a winder... Leaving the watches on it consume them a bit for nothing... At most I can take a single one, to use as a charger when I choose the watch I'll wear the day after...

8 watches winder is A MUST to have, imagine - every day new watch, and no worries about setting date/time on each...

That's if you have only 8 watches. Looking at your impressive collection, Luthier, there's no way you can cycle your watches through an 8 watch winder and still have all of them keep correct time and date.
