I personally would like to start seeing Rolex do more with different gold, they have their own damn gold smelting plant, why not give you an option of everose or whatever on that watch (which would then translate into the rep's)

Ive never had any luck with gold plating.   They seem to tarnish easily for me.  Others have worn them for years with no issue.  I guess I drew short straws with the rep gold.

Desk diving will wear the gold off the clasp in no time at all.   I had a two tone sub that I wore very sparingly and the clasp was worn through quite quickly.   The rest of the band and watch head remained looking very nice.....

I wonder if the gold on bracelet fades too soon?

I see... So you don't recommend the two tone?

I didn't say that. Just be ready for the gold to wear off the clasp quickly. If that doesn't drive you nuts, all is good....

I wonder if rose gold wears off a different rate than yellow gold?

I've been craving a rose gold dress watch for years.

Why would the color of the gold matter? It'll wear just as well as yellow gold.

Why do all noob rolexes lately seem to have the dates left justified?

I've noticed this on a few noob rolexes. My DJ included.

The 20s look terrible IMO.

I don't think the bezel insert has gold fillings. In the past they have been looking more like yellow ink rather than shiny/pearly gold in gens
