tomhorn Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Nomos makes a great watch. Stowa has some similar models. In general, they are reasonably priced gens for the quality of the watch.
xpletiv Posted October 31, 2014 Report Posted October 31, 2014 Wwwwwwhoa......a new model?! Is this true? Sub secs placement correct? (I thought that the original Tangement Rep hasn't been made in years, but it's still on that particular site?) Is this a joke? Tease? Will it be stupidly priced? ...
HaydenM Posted November 1, 2014 Report Posted November 1, 2014 The problem with rep nomos is that they are relatively inexpensive gen, so you could probably find an accurate rep coming up in the percentage value of the gen.
Tsomas Posted November 3, 2014 Report Posted November 3, 2014 I've made an order. Hopefully they will confirm it and send it soon. So exited for this watch, love it!
xpletiv Posted November 4, 2014 Report Posted November 4, 2014 Excellent, please, do a review with several good shots. Thanks!
UmpaHimself Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 I like the face design very much. Looking forward to some different dial variations.
Tsomas Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 Seems like more dial variations is coming to perfect clones. 1 more is already there. And does anyone know why it says tangente when it's the tangomat?
Resistor Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 The problem with rep nomos is that they are relatively inexpensive gen, so you could probably find an accurate rep coming up in the percentage value of the gen. Seems some of their older models are less expensive - I've seen them for ~1k. The newer watches with in-house movements are climbing up there.
psychedelic Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I can't wait to see pictures of this, I've been looking for a BAUHAUS Styled Replica forever and hate the text on the Rodina's
chrgod Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Great watch. :-) The decoration on the rotor and movement seems to be well done. I have the old Tangomat replica, also a nice watch, which I did a review on back in 2012. The subseconds on the new are in a different position compared to the old rep? Maybe different Nomos-movements. Caseback of the gen:
asciwhite Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 ------- I like them but they are to small for my taste
psychedelic Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 Do you guys know if this link is legitimate? I want to buy one but I thought they stopped producing the NOMOS replicas from awhile ago, awhile back in favor of the Rodinas
Nightwatch Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 Do you guys know if this link is legitimate? I want to buy one but I thought they stopped producing the NOMOS replicas from awhile ago, awhile back in favor of the Rodinas Hi and welcome. If You mean PC it´s legit if You follow the link from the OP (double-click). Check out rwg´s td section. Get one, review it for us and post some pics:) If there would be no reps at all in the world I would also have a gen Tangente with a clean simple design.
Tsomas Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 To everyone who wants more pictures of the current nomos, I'll upload a lot tomorrow 1
peter pan Posted November 17, 2014 Report Posted November 17, 2014 To everyone who wants more pictures of the current nomos, I'll upload a lot tomorrow Yes please!!
psychedelic Posted November 19, 2014 Report Posted November 19, 2014 To everyone who wants more pictures of the current nomos, I'll upload a lot tomorrow It's already here?! I can't wait to see it
xpletiv Posted November 20, 2014 Report Posted November 20, 2014 Awesome and thanks! The bezel just around the glass looks a tiny bit rough or is it dust/dirt? And the CB metal looks not all that smooth, too. Or is that also dust?
psychedelic Posted November 20, 2014 Report Posted November 20, 2014 Some pics http://imgur.com/a/8hjx9 Wow this is beautiful. I don't have enough money right now, does this website ever go down often or is he pretty consistent. Beautiful beautiful watch.
johannesstrauss Posted December 29, 2014 Report Posted December 29, 2014 I have bought a Rodina before and got the Nomos a while ago from Trusty. Unfortunately the small second is way too small in comparison to the gen or the Rodina. Overall it is a great watch, but the small second size issue is a big letdown. I would have preferred the old version, but they did not have it in stock anymore. So summing it up if you want a nice watch buy it. If you want a watch similar to the Nomos Tangomat go for the Rodina.
