Because I have no pride whatsoever I'll put up my skanky old beater as the follow-on to cc33's incredible red triangle insert.

Thanks but it's a phong insert! The genuine ones don't have any serifs on the silver bars.. I put a genuine pearl in it today which I'm very happy with

Hmmmmmmmm......  I have a red triangle Phong sitting here.  I should mount it in the extra MQ bezel and I can have a spare set of shoes for baby.

That's a great idea, the pearl is crap but the rest is worth using for sure! It'll save your gen from dings and scrapes

Not possible!! The chip is just a speck of paint or some other substance, the silver numerals sit in relief of the surrounding black paint, it can't chip, only the black paint can chip. Try using your fingernail to remove the speck

Wow, you're kidding!  I'll look at it with my loupe.  I was thinking it was chipped... look closely at my photo, at 37 minutes on the insert there's a piece chipped out of the black.  I sure hope I can just clean that off the 40.

 

I'll know when it comes back from the Spa.  Can't wait!
