Legend Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 B, sometimes I wonder why your limbs are still intact, the way you get in close proximity with these beasts of nature..
dbane883 Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 Very cool. Reminds me of one of my favorite movies; "Alone in the Wilderness".. The Story of [censored] Proenneke. http://www.aloneinthewilderness.com/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wankerdude Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 When I lived in Anchorage we use to run that area quite a bit. Thanks for the flashback.
Nanuq Posted January 8, 2015 Author Report Posted January 8, 2015 Hey Wanker how long ago was that? Do you remember when we could still take a 4wd over the Pass and down into Indian? Holy crap that's a steep over-and-down.
bwhitesox Posted January 8, 2015 Report Posted January 8, 2015 Hey [censored] how long ago was that? Do you remember when we could still take a 4wd over the Pass and down into Indian? Holy crap that's a steep over-and-down. Sorry that just made me laugh
Nanuq Posted January 8, 2015 Author Report Posted January 8, 2015 Reminds me of one of my favorite movies; "Alone in the Wilderness".. The Story of Dick Proenneke.http://www.aloneinthewilderness.com/ Yeah, that old timer is something to watch. He turns trees into planks to build things, makes hinges out of spruce, you name it. A true Alaskan sourdough.
