Just got one of them from toro last week.Very happy with the purchase.Although when I ordered was told that the ocean racer strap was unavailable so had to go with the pro diver II.Just as well as I was able to find a ocean racer strap on ebay for 20 bucks. Here are some pics of the blackbird.IMG_0202_zpsbfe3acae.jpg,IMG_0198_zpsf923cc27.jpg

The Blackbird has always been one of my favorite chronos but I've never grown fond of the blacksteel versions. I think it's because Breitling never went all the way and PVD'd the bracelets. Seems like a half measure to offer only rubber straps for these special editions.

Seeing these Blackbird pics makes me want to get my brushed version fixed and running again.

Very nice!

Could you guys please share how's the PVD under normal light? I mean black or dark grey? Thanks!

PVD is black under normal light.Of course  with the pvd its a shiny black but a black none the less.

Only problem is that the lume is very weak in the hour markers. Almost non existent

Yea the movement on mine has already taken a dump.Started out by not holding a power reserve for anything(less than 6hours).Then just the other day it stopped ticking.Am going to crack the back and give it a look-see.Let me ask anyone out there(I know i'm being lazy)what all movements could I replace this a7750 chrono with.I truly do not care if the chrono feature even works so would be willing to go with a non chrono movement if I could get it to work without a major overhall(hands change and whatnot). The case is 42.5x17 mm is that helps.
