tonibari
Wow, you guys do lots of interesting stuff. I love sports, doing them my self. Mainly Basketball, being 6'9" I have a slight advantage over others. My wife and I lift a lot, and we just spent a nice chunk to build up our home gym. I'm thinking about doing skeet shooting again. Used to it a lot when I was younger; now I just need to make up my mind which gun to get. Also, we have two cats needing constant entertainment. ryyannon
The good stuff? With thujone/wormwood?...enough to make Van Gough, Poe, or Carol proud? Where can I import this from, in the States? It's been a while since I looked into the question, but I believe that the real thing (as opposed to those containing innocuous quantities of wormwood) can only be found in Eastern Europe. There was an expert - I seem to remember that it was our Norwegian friend - 'Crasi' Dani and his Pits - who was a special friend of the Green Fairy. Personally, I don't really like the taste - or the effects. If I really want to mess with my (remaining) neurons, give me a good old fashioned blunt, E. or some blow anytime. Ah, the Simple Life.... sssurfer
Hobbies? Uhm... Undecided whether I can call many of them hobbies or sports or intellectual interests or what, but here they are: Tai Chi Chuan (and previously other, more outside-oriented, martial arts) Scuba diving Windsurfing All non-gambling games, and especially: Card games: Bridge and Magic the Gathering Role-playing games (most liked: Paranoia and Call of Chtulhu) Chess Music (listening and very badly playing) Painting (looking and very badly doing) Books and movies (especially sf) Artificial life, artificial intelligence, artificial consciousness. Programming (Visual C and Visual Basic). Neural networks and genetic algorithms. 'Chaos science', fractals and so. Asian women.

Devedander
This is where this thread went!! I coulda sworn I put it in General and it just walked off into oblivion... Very appropriate name slay... Maybe get a non midget referee? Is that still functional? It looks pretty sweet... how fast can you get off shots with it? What's the range like? slay
Is that still functional? It looks pretty sweet... how fast can you get off shots with it? What's the range like? Nope, its not functional anymore, but its also only a La Coruna Carbine. Not the Mauser! I had a Mauser when I lived in the states and I shot it quite often. But to be honest, it's very hard to hit something with it. When I first shot it, I could hardly shoot a melon from 100 yards distance! Over here (in Germany) there is just too much stress involved in getting a Firearms license. I#d have to invest at least 5k and all that kind of stuff! They already gave me A LOT of trouble when I requested a license for BLANK (!!!) firing guns. The cops came to my house and asked me millions of questions like why I want a blank gun and what I want to use it for and that guns dont belong in regular citizens hands, not even blank guns
