Raxford
When you ship world wide, what do you put on the declaration? Watch? Bracelet? I bought from Andrew (shipping to the US) and he put Broach on it. What value do you place on it?
panerai153
I generally put broken horological device for repair, or horological parts.Valuation depends on what it is. I usually ship with fairly low for reps, if I sell someone a genuine watch, it ships with full valuation and full insurance. USPS will not allow you to insure for more than the customs declaration stated, so if you declare the value at 50.00 USD, That's all you can insure it for.I believe that one thing has to be made crystal clear between buyer and seller, the watch once it leaves my possession, belongs to the buyer. He takes all risks for loss, damage, customs seizures and duty. Only after we agree to these terms will I sell and ship a watch outside the CONUS. kernow
I tend to discuss with the buyer the value they want declared. Generally "broken watch parts", value around $20.

UmpaHimself
I usually say "gift toy watch" but these sound way better Edited December 22, 2015 by UmpaHimself
sgtguk
I use the same 'broken watch for repair' or bracelet etc depending on what your sending, we have to remember if the package does get scanned the 'description' at least matches what is expected in the box
