Hi,

i have a genuine Rolex 3186 movement with dial and hands fitted and I wondered whether anyone knew of anyone (UK based) who could fit it in an aftermarket GMT case? Or explorer ii? Or any other ideas?

Thanks

i believe it can fit into a Noob V3 116710 case because I have seen others franken-ing their 116710 like that with a Yuki-modified 3185
no idea if it can fit into the latest Noob CHS 116710 or 216570

Thanks everyone. I should have said, it's currently fitted in a noob gmt case (which I believe was a pain in the backside to do) but the winder thread has snapped I think (as the time and date cannot be adjusted). I can live with it if it could be fixed but I wondered whether anyone knew of any cases that would be an identical fit. Or if anyone can fix the winder? Not many horologists are happy working on mods so I thought I'd try here. Cheers.

I had to machine a movement ring to keep the movement center as the hole is slightly too big and also lift the gen 3185 "away" from the crystal just a bit. That lined the stem up correctly. There is a slight gap but I used black acetal so you barely notice it.

Misiekped is your only viable solution to fit it to a V3 superb Noob case
Add a gen bezel set and crystal and voila :)
But I built a full franken back In the time and the case specs can vary so give it to an expert to fit the movement properly ..

The v3 noob case fits the movement ?

Inhve a V3 sitting around in my box somewhere I need to try this. ?

I have a 3186 sitting in the noob chs case now and the crown stem is slightly off but I've had no issues.
