I have a large glass of malt whisky in my hand and I toast all my long suffering friends on RWG.

I'm here for the fun of it and the camaraderie - watches are a pleasant distraction - nothing more.

congratulations. I am in awe ...

i mean of the malt whiskey, not the posts...

:thumbs::thumbs:

All kidding aside Jon...

Your contribution to this forum and it's members is unsurpassed...

I count it privilege to call you friend...

I lift my glass to you...

Sincere thanks Mike. As I said previously it started with the watches for me but very quickly it became more about friendships and to be honest there are numerous people on here who leave me standing when it comes to watch talk. It's not my principle reason for being here anymore. Don't get me wrong - I still get a buzz from all that is going on with reps and their development, however it's the banter that makes it fun.

Cheers to you and all my other chums. I'm privilaged.

PS - I must give a special mention to Kenberg. I think we were "freshers" around the same time back when and I've always held him in the highest regard. I might not still be active on the forum were it not for him. Here's tae ye Ken!

And here's a wee bit o Burns tae sign off with:

Here's a bottle and an honest man!

What wad ye wish for mair, man?

Wha kens, before his life may end,

What his share may be o' care, man?

Then catch the moments as they fly,

And use them as ye ought, man.

Believe me happiness is shy,

And comes not aye when sought, man!

And ta ye my dear friend....

Then let us pray that come it may,

(As come it will for a’ that,)

That Sense and Worth, o’er a’ the earth, 35

Shall bear the gree, an’ a’ that.

For a’ that, an’ a’ that,

It’s coming yet for a’ that,

That Man to Man, the world o’er,

Shall brothers be for a’ that.
