Falco
Great pictures of genuine pieces there Klingsor. Yes it seems it's a chinese new year holliday where Silix is, so I guess it's not much work happening over there. Silix promised to post here with and update, that's what we are waiting for now
Indyclmbr
Wow! What an overwhelming response. I don't know if anyone is keeping a running list, but I'm in for one of these as well. Just a beautiful watch! Climb on.
Indyclmbr
OK all. I tallied up the responses and this is what we have. Right now, 46 people are interested with a total of 51+ watches. Here's the list, in the order I read them. If I left you off, I apologize, just copy this list and reply to keep a running tally. If I noted something incorrect, or if your status changes from questionable to certain, again, just copy the list and post with edits to keep an up-to-date running tally. Hope I didn't step on anyone's toes by pulling this together. Climb on. Watchman3
After pm'ing Silix he's checking with his watchmaker to do another run of the ROL187 It has been out of production a long time and is no longer available. He asked me to see how many are interested in buying one before asking the watchmaker. Post in this thread if you are interested Link to watch Previous thread on the subject The real thing: By the way, I have no financial interest in this whatsoever, I just want the watch Falco, I'm interested in the James Bond sub. What's the status in this, will you be able to get the watches afterall?
Falco
it's not me getting the watches, Silix is the dealer. There's a chinese new year holliday going on and after that Silix is checking with the watchmaker if the ROL187 can be back in production. Hopefully with new specs like ETA, lugholes ... I'd be amazed if it won't be back since there's about 50-60 watch orders here, at the least.
Falco
Ok people we are cleared for takeoff! Silix: "Sorry for not speaking early. I was busy with rushing orders before the long holiday. I have just posted on the poll, and we will do the rerun. It will take sometime, but I will keep posted. We will start with asian 17 automatic, and several of them, which share the same case. Only the serial number between teh lugs causing some problem to the idea of sharing case. Will try to make correct serial numbers for each type of them. Nice day."

Falco
can't care that it's 17j asian, easy to replace w/ more accurate beat 2846 (69$) and will keep the cost down of the watch I hope just hope we get drilled-through lugholes
tmg
Great news Falco Thank you driving this project! The correct bezel, accepting a gen dial and crystal would be so sweeeeet! docblackrock
Or we could upsize the 6542 rep case to fit 1675 parts. Then we have gen dials and crystals out the wazoo. Just like MBW. That would be my preference/recommendation
