Cheap Gens In Las Vegas - Where To Go?

Category 5

Recommended Posts

Lucky me! It's an early anniversary celebration in LV and I'll be hitting the strip all next week. I may have a change to get a nice Gen if the price is right, so for those in the know...where do I go for great deals on gens? There's a Tourneau but I expect retail or close to it there...there are some high profile shops in some of the casinos too, but I don't really know where to begin.

I'd love to get my hands on a PAM111!

The Pawn Shops! Im not kidding in the slightest. Open a phone book and call a few. Ask what they have, youll be surprised.

Out of all you had to choose a PAM111! The most repped PAM!

Yeah!!!

Look for an AP Royal Oak Offshore - you could sell that and get 2 x PAM111 if not more!

They have a great AP selection at the Wynn. Do look at Torneau though, they have pre-owned as well as new. The volume that they do there may lend itself to a decent discount depending on the brand. Besides, it's just a rush to even look around in there with one of the biggest selection of brands in the western US.

Yes, even if you don't get a watch at Torneau ask nicely for the Breitling catalogue- it is like a book and exceptional quality.

Vegas report - All the watch shopps are fantastic...but very little discounts to be had. No more than anywhere back home. Favorites were the Tourneau (of course), the little watch store outside of Tourneau, and the Wynn. Horologio was pretty fun, and the clerk was very firendly. We got to play with all the watches.

Tried to hit the pawn shops but all I found was some overpriced Datejusts, and quite a few beat up Seikos, Citizens, and co.

Maybe I hit the wrong ones. So far I'm only down $85. Three more days to go though. There are currently 11 PAMS in the state...all Radiomirs. I asked about the 11 and got nothing but scoffs and laughs. My wife fell in love with a diamond and rose gold VC. $23,000. Strange that the clerk was REALLY trying to convince me to buy it for her despite my Fender T-shirt and ripped jeans. It must happen a lot!

HOROLOGIO, at the Venetian, the Grand Canal Shoppes, has a good rep for offering discounts....

HOROLOGIO at the Venetian sent me a customer card. They are holding up to a 50% sale on selected models during March only. You may miss the sale but you should check them out anyway as they have great discounts.
