shultz Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 Hehe, today seems to be my super poster day Borrowed a camera from my neighbour because mine is down. Must take advantage of this situation This is my PAM029 with ETA2893 which has been fully modded by Rob. As usual: Many thanks for a great work What has been done: Service as usual, "L" at 6 changed into a "T", vintage sausage markers with SL, 2,1mm palp crown, new date mag (chieftang) and an old lello DW which has been in stock for a while. Thanks to all the guys here for your support Enjoy the pics: BTW: Strap is from BOB: cognac alligator with black edges

rolli Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 hi, great work, great combo, wear it well, rolli
yodaddynukka Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 super watch! are all the 029 and 063 models supposed to have the "T" instead of the "L"?
stilty Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 super watch! are all the 029 and 063 models supposed to have the "T" instead of the "L"? I'm no PAM expert, but I think there were two versions of the dial. On was T and one was L. I think the T version had the markers further in on the dial. My dial is markerd L, and I think it is correct. Here is the T version: Here is the L version.
Watchmeister Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 F- Looks fabulous. Wear it well. I am loving every second of mine.
ubiquitous Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Man... If I could have only one PAM, it would be this one! Great watch... Knowing that it's been modded by ziggy is just icing on the cake...
reficul Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 "L" at 6 changed into a "T", vintage sausage markers with SL, 2,1mm palp crown, new date mag (chieftang) and an old lello DW which has been in stock for a while. Thanks to all the guys here for your support Hi there! Beautiful work! I ever owned a gen and this is really close to it as far as I can tell! May I know what do you mean when you change the "L" to "T"? You mean a complete change of dial? And may I ask how much did you paid everything for? Wonderful watch and wear it in good health!
ximenes Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 another great looking pam... I can't get enough of em.
Jetsons Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 Awesome watch and terrific dial work by Mr. The Zigmeister! I may have to so the same to mine once I get my hands on the gen crown. The honey croc strap looks great on your GMT. Is it OEM?
shultz Posted May 24, 2007 Author Report Posted May 24, 2007 The honey croc strap looks great on your GMT. Is it OEM? No, it is a BOB merino cognac strap (honey is for girls PAM lovers take a cognac)
coltrim Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 Looks great- what's the strap? Can anyone suggest anyone in the uk who does good work on reps?
Highflyingclive Posted May 25, 2007 Report Posted May 25, 2007 @Shultz... great... I am green with envy. The date mag makes a huge difference! @Jetsons... this is what an OEM strap looks like:
Watchmeister Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 I put the same color croc on the watch and it really brings out the dial.
deepsea Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 wow congrats on your watch mate. just a quick question: how is the change of L to T? repaint? or exchange the complete dial?
RWG Technical Posted May 26, 2007 Report Posted May 26, 2007 just a quick question: how is the change of L to T? repaint? or exchange the complete dial? The "L" was changed to a "T" by me, I repainted it... RG
HauteHippie Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 The "L" was changed to a "T" by me, I repainted it... RG @ Shultz - great looking watch. Mind if I borrow it to wear to a job interview next week? @ The Zigmeister - are you kidding??! You changed the L to a T? WOW
RWG Technical Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 @ Ziggy - are you kidding??! You changed the L to a T? WOW I was forced to do it, I know, I know, I am not proud of myself, I was young and needed the money...Oh wait, that was something else I did while in the military oops... RG
sssurfer Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 The "L" was changed to a "T" by me, I repainted it... I thought I saw everything from you The Zigmeister, but this is beyond any expectations!
Watchmeister Posted May 27, 2007 Report Posted May 27, 2007 Well I am hoping is going to reveal a couple of other "miracles" shortly.
shultz Posted May 27, 2007 Author Report Posted May 27, 2007 I was young and needed the money... RG Rob, beware! I am thinking about further tricky jobs @ chieftang: Of course I will borrow it to you. Let's talk about about an ar discount!
