swdivad Posted May 7, 2006 Author Report Share Posted May 7, 2006 Well, although I started this thread and intended to purchase it around that time, there was some kind of problem with my credit card, plus I was going away on holiday, so I didn't go through with the purchase. I also really wanted the two counter model, as I think the 3 counter is a bit busy, BUT I am still up in the air about it, but may go ahead... I am still on holiday for another 2 weeks, and I will be asking those guts if the 2 counter model will be made in the future... will definately jump on that one! The price premium charged to overseas buyers seems a bit excessive though, considering it amounts to almost double the Japanese MSRP. You'd have to want a $550 watch pretty badly to pay $1000 for it. You're damn right there I'm going to give that one a miss because of their 'high non-japanese customer price'... I didn't check the website close enough to see this, thanks for pointing it out... I'm definately not into that kind of treatment and will bring it to their attention with a request for the 2 counter model at normal prices. Now if they made something a little "larger" I might think about it or if they made it more financially sound (like give us regular pricing).
