You can get a lot of different watches with a bracelet, but the PAM strap at 24mm is a thing of beauty because it allows you to personalize your watch. Climb on. ubiquitous Posted April 18, 2006 Report Share Posted April 18, 2006 I tried a PAM on a bracelet once... I could never get it to fit right. Either too tight or too loose. Even with the half links. But, I've found this to be the case on a lot of bracelets out there... Not just Panerai. It's gets many compliments, fits my wrist perfectly with 7 links on one side and 6 1/2 on the other. Actually fits better than my rubber with deploy and some of my leathers. I put the bracelet on when I am heading out to some sort of upscale restaurant/bar/show in Chicago, but for day to day wear I have a smokin carbon fiber strap that absolutely compliments the 196 perfectly. archibald Posted April 19, 2006 Report Share Posted April 19, 2006 i like my 40mm 51 on the bracelet, but i with it were more accurate--it should taper in the middle and then taper back out @ the buckle end, and should be more agressively brushed as per the OEM.
