Congrats Nanuq and thanks for sharing beautifull shots once again.

@BT

Isn't it so that lots of Scandinavians are having a national huge party soon when the sun only sleeps for an hour or so.

I went in Sweden, Stocholm, several times but never had the chance to be there around this period of the year...

I'd love too.

It must be an incredible sensation...Have fun.

Cheers

Stephane

@Stephane: Yes, we really do. Most of the Scandoscums just use the Midsummer as an excuse to get shitty drunk. :lol:

I don't drink or smoke, but I guess I could take a few beers too. :)

Funny thing, that midnight sun.....A lot of tourists come to the northern parts of Norway to see the midnight sun....One couple even managed to write a letter to their travel agency asking for a refund "since the midnight sun was exactly the same sun they had where they lived" :rolleyes:

Hah, you think Midnight Sun is interesting, in Alaska we are also the Land of the Noon Moon. In winter it is quite common for the sun AND the moon to both be high in the sky at the same time.

:g:

Show off :p:lol:
