I may get a Sinn chrono on the way, though; there are still some bargains to be had. NOW were talkin

teddy boy
very classy omni The two most recent gens I bought were a two tone airking (used) and a new Omega SMP. I like both of them a lot. Both were excellent values.

That's an extremely rare great choice thomasng! I saw him on that Television Program "Masters of Time". Last I heard he is taking orders for another 100 now with deliveries in 2008, go for it. baltic
What would you spend your real money on - like, would you save a few K to get a cool gen, even if you could only have 1 of them. What Gen would you buy. My only Gen 'proper watch': Classic styling, unbeatable history, bullet proof movement, good value for money.

dvn
Would this Omega Seamaster Professional 300m Titanium for $1075 a good buy? Purchased from a web store therefore consider a gray market watch but it has serial number intact and reference card and box set.
georgegrasser
I'd buy the Ebel 1911 GTR. Without a doubt the Ebel 1911. Most can be had for at least 50% off retail. Even the vaunted BTR sells for 40% off.

(nothing wrong with that...still a stunning watch). Never been replicated... and I'm guessing it won't be anytime soon.... shame. I'd buy one and in re: OP... I just recently acquired a Speedy Moon... after much deliberation, the flaws of the reps just said "buy the gen" to me... so the question is now: What next?... Depending on many variables... A nice used pam 186 or possibly a new 177 would be my next dream watches that are somewhat achieveable... time will tell.
