gran Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 A few years back peterussell began counting his age not in years, but days. "The day is the natural cycle of our lives. The cycle of light and dark, wakefulness and sleep, has more significance than the cycle of the seasons. Indeed, in equatorial latitudes, you hardly notice the passing of the seasons. The day is what counts." http://www.peterussell.com/age.html

cornerstone Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 My daughter is 246 days old! We can celebrate her 250th day in four days from now
Johnkaz Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Wow a new way to reduce the wifes birthday to one every 2.7378 years. Now how to get this across to her, should be quite simple. Well maybe not. Cheers Johnkaz.

SubFrog Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 I wouldn't dare tell my lady friend her days old. She'd suddenly want to celebrate every day...which means she wants a gift of some sort. Or dinner somewhere. I'm trying to reduce the amount of gifts so I don't go broke. It seems we have to celebrate just about everything these days. Which, in theory, isn't a bad thing. I just need my cash for REPS!!!! Bad Froggy, BAD froggy! Ha Ha!
cwai02 Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 I remember I wrote a similar program in my CS101 class.
cornerstone Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 (edited) I wouldn't dare tell my lady friend her days old. This would have been good advice to have yesterday. I did, and her expression looked a lot like this: Edited May 16, 2006 by cornerstone
