MBW vs ETA Noob sub?

Recommended Posts

so i held my noob eta up to my ear and it seems as if my noob eta beats faster then my mbw 16610

i opened up the backs and on the noob it says 25 jewel and on the mbw it says 17 jewel...not sure if these are "accurate" markings or what.....

thoughts?

which is a better movement? which is more accurate to the original beat rate? etc.....

The 2846 is a 21600 bph movt. It would be best in a vintage MBW, and would not be as correct in a 16610 MBW. However with the shortage of eta movements, MBW may be putting whatever they can get their hands on in their watches. And don't forget that most of the 21j asian movts are also 21600 bph. It's still a good movement, just not as well suited for the 16610 replica. Of course, the gen 16610 w/ the 3135 movt beats at 28800, just like the 2836.

Stephane, I can verify Cableguy as trustworthy (bought parts from him recently) if you guys are considering this swap.

Cableguy,

I would be more than happy to send you a 2836-2 and get your 2846.

Let me know,

Cheers

Stephane

i will let u guys know..... what i decide. (i have been thinking about getting a vintage sub) and it would be just my luck as i'll bet if i sell/trade this slow beat away the vintage will come with a 28.8k beat movement. lol

It will: murphy's law.

Keep it

But if you change your mind PM me :)
