911RS
I bit of my personal collection. Just for fun... real... why? Rep... your reason? Don't mind the Panerai in there... cheers! Edited November 2, 2007 by 911RS
freddy333
I do not keep Pans & it is impossible to verify the DD's without better pictures. But based on what I can see they both look like reps (you will have to guess). Clear, close-ups of the day & date windows would help as would close-ups of the dials and crowns. FxrAndy
Both Reps just to be different, and i hate to think what a platinum DD withthat many diamonds would cost, if you could afforsd to buy it you could afford to fix it.
UB7
Hmm..The gold watch has correct VIII, and from the pics looks to have proper rehaut? Gold is gen other 2 are reps thats my best guess Edited November 2, 2007 by UB7
alligoat
I'd go w/ both reps. The crown on the diamond DD is wrong- single dot??? Date cyclops on gold DD looks crooked.

Guest watchbuff
Gold is a rep, platinum looks gen. Pan is a rep
slickdick
I'd go w/ both reps. The crown on the diamond DD is wrong- single dot??? Date cyclops on gold DD looks crooked. Actually the 1 dot on platinum is correct. I think they are both real because: dials loos gen (printing, coronet, day/date windows) crowns look gen bracelets look like have little stretch, but no sign of lost plating. Pics of the backs shoudl put an end to the dabate. Often on reps there are no precious metal hallmarks, just the plated SS case. Heck most of the time the clasp will say "stainless steel". indyberetta
Both are reps. The SS DD is the lower quality of the two. The giveaway on the all gold one is the texture of the band. The gen has more of a frosted look to the gold band on the edges. This has more of a scratched look. If I am wrong I would love to see inside the cases! 911RS
The answer is....... they are both Gens. Gold DD was handed down to me by my father. It's OLD, purchased in the 80s The "SS" one is mine purchased 5 years ago. It's actually 100% full platinum with Rolex diamonds not after market =Op Sent the platinum one out today to get serviced and get that date wheel reset/fixed. Both purchased at authorized dealers. Kudos to those who said they were gen... Yup the Pam is a rep... I wear it more, over my gens. Edited November 2, 2007 by 911RS
Guest watchbuff
Gerez some reps look better than that. I guess they just need some TLC
arminvanbuuren
i guess daydates and datejusts are very hard to tell eh? ohh i was gonna say they're both gen as i have the gold gen too.. and the fit of the endlinks are similar to yours.. and everything heres the pic of mine
Bravoz
I have a DJ with similar style to your DD. My answer is Gold = Gen and Plat = Rep. But nice timepieces regardless. I don't like PAMs
