docblackrock
Finally, a B&R Instrument Series watch that won't look like I'm wearing an alarm clock attached to a belt Finally a decent size - 44mm. And a nice departure from the aviator-type design - this one looks a SERIOUS Divers' watch, with a heavy-duty depth rating and an Aquatimer-like inner rotating bezel. Comes in three variations - this PVD is the best, there's another in SS and another with a different more generic dial (looks like one of those Seiko Kinetic Monsters). Me likey, me likey a lot And in 'testing'
Fireman_Fred
Now that IS a nice looking B&R - I completely agree with you Doc !
Pugwash
How unusual, A B&R you can wear without being laughed at!
docblackrock
How unusual, A B&R you can wear without being laughed at!Actually, they make some very nice classic retro chrono's etc. (see below). It's just that, for obvious reasons, the professional Instrument Series is what most people think of when you mention B&R, so evolving that 'hard to wear' tool watch look is a step in the right direction IMO. docblackrock
Here's the other two plus another two in pink gold ()....as I said though, I think the carbon SS version is the best. Non-PVD version...hmm, wouldn't say no The 'Seiko' one... And the two gold models one with carbon dial

donm668
I like it. Funny how quite a few people dont like the B&R Watches, but each to his own. Thats the great thing about watches... something for everyone! (kind of like music) Now me, I'd never have a Rolex. Don

docblackrock
Just stay away from the ginormous crown guard direction.......says the Fiddy-wearing girl UPDATE: THIS WATCH IS NOW BEING PITCHED TO OUR ASIAN FRIENDS - Cheers Angus
Watchmeister
Now that is a step in the right direction. I hope the manufacturers will now focus on perfecting the "inner rotating bezel" mechanism as theyre on this one, the new JLC divers, Coustea's, non-chrono AP's. eunomians
Nice departure from the played-out square. Oddly enough, I like it (for now). We will see though once I get one into my hands. PS. Making tool watches in Rose Gold is about as dumb as trying to order Fettucine Alfredo at a Taco Stand.

Making tool watches in Rose Gold is about as dumb as trying to order Fettucine Alfredo at a Taco Stand. Exactly how I feel Euno. Many's a time I've liked a watch on the page and it's done absolutely nothing for me on the wrist, and vice versa. Dropped by my local B&R AD at the weekend - they are getting the first shipment in next week, so I'll report back then.
