abat Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Working away for a couple of days, brought this with me:
Everythingape Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Nothing fancy today, just some Seiko-luv. The Seiko Samurai Titanium SBDA003 A great watch, not a fan of the titanium though..
TeeJay Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 No pics as yet, I've been so busy catching up on projects that my wrist aches and I'm half-baked on marker pen fumes As for what I'm wearing though, I've got on the PVD PAM, which is best described as a 111g, on my (current) favorite strap, the honey/tan strap which came from the factory, and was most recently photographed on my 029a. Time to get some fresh air before I pass out from 'huffing solvents'
arty909 Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Lots of Daytona talk on the forum lately....Got the juices flowing: Aww, you're killing me avitt. Beautiful holy grail you've got there! Arty
Guest avitt Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Aww, you're killing me avitt. Beautiful holy grail you've got there! Arty Thanks Arty. Are you really out there on Catalina? How many fires could you see at night two weeks ago?
arty909 Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Thanks Arty. Are you really out there on Catalina? How many fires could you see at night two weeks ago? It was a nightmare. We were evacuated, and my wife and I stayed with my Uncle in Oakland. When we returned, our house was fine, but two of my nearby neighbors had $100,000+ damage to their homes. Lots of talk about permanent scars to the island, but I think we will recover in time. Thanks for asking, Arty
maxmilian Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 This old thing today, I love this strap...almosta as much as the Senape
baglc1 Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 My franken is getting some action! VBarrett, look at those painted finger nails, nice watch.
slai Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Gonna give the CD a whirl with a button-down shirt for a meeting today.
dylan Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 @Bearcat: great strap on that 114. Since you're showing off your trade with me, the least I can do is show what I got for that 114.
freddy333 Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Gonna give the CD a whirl with a button-down shirt for a meeting today. Hell with the watch. That is some nice cuff & link you got there. Back to the beater for me (unfortunately, without the babes)
slai Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Hell with the watch. That is some nice cuff & link you got there. Thanks! I picked up an awesome set of cufflinks to match my RG HBB too...might be in order for later this week.
LeGambleur Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 The old 036 with my new vintage strap for me.
freddy333 Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Thanks! I picked up an awesome set of cufflinks to match my RG HBB too...might be in order for later this week. If they are anything like the other set, I would go with a more understated watch and let the links do the talking. Otherwise, the effect is like that of having a room with 3 fireplaces all competing for the viewer's eye. Having a fancy watch, fancy shirt & fancy cufflinks all competing for attention on the same arm kind of weakens each component's overall effect. At least, for me.

Otherwise, the effect is like that of having a room with 3 fireplaces all competing for the viewer's eye. It's more understated and it would be with a solid-coloured shirt.
bigmouth Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 Still wearing the IWC GST Ti, new fresh shot btw:
slai Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 What the hell, here's the combo for tomorrow.
