Suchecracks
It comes with a Swiss ETA-2836-2 - dindt the "old" one come with a 2824? Which would be a better because the gen comes with the same movement. Not much a difference but still nice to have the "same" movement.
FxrAndy
36/24 is not an issue to me but we were told it was to be improved.
italiano17771
$358 shipped?? damn that seems kinda high. used gens sell for around $1200.
Mickey Padge
The case has been re-worked to accommodate the different movement, otherwise it's the same...... I would suggest www.silix-prime.com for the best priced SFSO.
Rxus
I would have thought maybe they improved the index numbers on the bezel and changed the screws on the bracelet to the flat top style...If they would have made those two minor changes then it could be called the Ultimate Perfectionist watch. Specially since it now comes with the Gen movement, some even in nickel plated.
The Red Baron
The pearl looks a little nicer, at least on those pics. Although the pearl was always pretty decent on these.
UB7
Is it just me or does the B on the bezel look engraved as opposed to laser etched? Maybe its just the lighting
The Red Baron
Weakly engraved/stamped?

Suchecracks
what reworking is required to swap from a 36 to a 24? see below: stem position is different The worse I can imagine is a spacer between the movement and dial and a datewheel overlay to not have the date recessed. Thats the way they do it on the Super Sea-Dweller - thus making it impossible to get the hour hand of without scratching the Dial because its way too closed to it. But may be I am wrong... 36/24 is not an issue to me but we were told it was to be improved. For me it is a big issue, because with the ETA 2824 you could just swap the movement with the generic - a nice and easy done frankenproject. With the ETA 2836 the swap will be more difficult because of the different stem position.
FxrAndy
Hmm 0.7mm difference in hight, could be,
DWSmoot
I believe that the date font on Angus's new 2836 model is better/closer to the gen that the 2824 model. The dial appears to be a bit better also.. Ordered a black face today. Will post pictures once received... DW
By-Tor
Once again: I seriously doubt they have built this watch again, which was already selling like hotcakes. It's the same rep, until proven otherwise. Date font might be different though.
fatbulldog
Silix hasn't heard of the new SFSO yet - now looking into it... hopefully I'll know soon if RWG dealers have it, I've been waiting a month for the new one to be released... ...getting anxious Brian

lanikai
FX these are the different colours and the white Asian without AR and the swiss double AR .. the collectors were temporarily out of stock as the difficulty now is for the maker to source enough movements .. so the movement may be a different model but not so much an upgrade as availability .. to my understanding.. The White swiss.. was recieve yesterday the Black .. Blue were from the original stock Asian; ... Swiss closer font difference.. double AR; no AR.. although the left is double AR on the white dials they are barely noticable,.. but on the black and the blue they are awesome
