cornerstone Posted January 16, 2008 Report Share Posted January 16, 2008 I also tried to deposit the money in my branch of TTKs bank but they can't tag any information to the cash so he wouldn't know who it was from. If you have access to online banking it is normally free UK bank to UK bank. When you go into a branch and they quote 23 pounds they are talking about a same-day CHAPS payment which you don't need. One way to tag the cash deposit is to overpay a unique number of pence possibly, an amount which no-one else would have paid in. Then presumably you could say that that amount came from you.
