King has a new IWC St Exupery replica out! :)

Looks good at a first glance. The Asian movement even have the nice ETA-datefont! Good caseback engravings and decent AR also. I don't like the 001/250 serial number though.

Perhaps we have a new Bargain-winner!

Just checked the IWC catalogue.

44mm case, 12.6mm thickness.

Interestingly, according to the catalogue it looks as if the Asian datefont would be more accurate for this one..

There should also be a small marker@7 next to the Power reserve, and metal surroundings on the numbers.... Nevertheless, its a nice watch!

The gen was made with 250 pieces in white gold, and 1178 in SS. The rep has the same serial number as in the catalogue.

The real McCoy..

How much does it cost anyway?

If they can rep this case properly- why not the Mark XVI?!

Now that's the first senseble thing posted in this thread :D

I saw the St.Exupery last week (gen) but my goodness... what an ugly watch :yucky:

Don't wanna insult nobody... but in the whole IWC line this is the ugly duckling IMHO. And i am a huge fan of IWC design...

So has anyone acquired this or seen it first hand?

The diameter is 46 mm

the AR is not high grade but it is double AR,.. the crystal is synthetic

engraving on the case back .. really detailed but leaves the edges very sharp

dial.(need to find the genuine pic).. the colour is a deep chocolate.. satin finished ; concentric rings in the PR sub ... the colour is what gets me.. weather it's close to the genuine I do not know but it is just a very nice colour regardless

Lume surprisingly excellent.. really very good for the price of this rep

Strap.. really a throw away .. good for the buckle though

add on.. the PR is a working PR ..collectors seem to have gotten the diameter incorrect it is a 46 as my collector confirmed before it was shipped but the collector site Say's 44

you really cannot go wrong for the price on this piece

any other angles for pics .. let me know

regardless of the fact the the rep has a 2mm larger diameter than the gen...

it's really not that noticeable...

it's a great rep to my eyes...

really like the Power Reserve, & it works according to "lanikai"...

I really like the idea of the PR, perhaps it's just personal preference, but it's really useful IMHO...

the strap is indeed in need of replacing though.

So the gen is 44mm and the rep is 46mm? You really have to work extra hard to screw up a rep that badly. Just amazing. PASS.

I've been schooled to measure from the case at 9 to the crown .. if you measure from 3 to 9 on the case then yes it is 44..
