Any folks has the photo of the true superdome T19 available for comparison?

I just got one and the seller claimed it is 100% genuine. The question is the crytsal is round/domed on the rim prolongs to the top which then forms a rather flat surface. Wonder if this is then a superdome? Or should the the top surface also be round and dome shaped?

Please see picture of the crystal I got for what I mean.

Nanuq did a picture comparison of several crystals, including a gen superdome here.

The pictures are not coming up for me, so you might PM him to see if he moved them or can repost the images. It would probably be a good idea to repost since there are alot of new members who would be interested in the same info.

Bertieng,

Here is a replacement flat T19 next to a superdome.

T39 superdomes have a slightly different curvature to the dome vs. the T19, not to mention they're taller. I once bought a T19 and got a T39 by mistake B) .

I hope that helps.

Thanks for all the quick replies and advices.

So it looks like the T19 superdome I got is gen. and correct.

Now I can sleep in peace.

I think you can sleep indeed ;)

The Super Dome is "flat" on the top, at least mine...

Sorry to highjack your thread B but since I have some gen crystal experts here, I thought I'd ask. Are MBW/MBK the only rolex reps that will accept gen crystals? I've been here long enough to know the answer to this question but you never know these days.
