kokedose Posted March 29, 2008 Report Posted March 29, 2008 Until recently, when i had to clean install vista (nothing to do with service pack 1 finding the crack i had been using for the last 6 months ) i had a wonderfully little Ap on my desktop that didn't take up any space and allowed me to resize images for photobucket to load onto here.....and now i have forgotten what it was called! I am now ready after much crying like a little girl to upload the pics of my dead fiddy. Thanks for any freeware small Ap suggestions. Be lucky all
KB Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 Imageshack.com will resize your pic's and give you a URL to paste straight onto our site. Oh and it's free. Ken
capice Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 Like Rob said, Irfanview is a great program, it isfreeware, with all kinds of utilities and very easy to use. Great for viewing, even RAWfiles of the latest cameras. It runs on all our computers next to Photoshop CS3
Mickey Padge Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 Or photoscape v3, from www.photoscape.org That is free too!
FxrAndy Posted March 30, 2008 Report Posted March 30, 2008 i always thought that photobucket resized to 800x600 any way?
gpat Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 as a stand alone app image resizer pro is great
chubbchubb Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 I use Xat Image Optimizer (hxxp://www.xat.com/io/index.html) to resize images for web projects. You see both original and compressed picture side by side as you increase compression (and decrease size). For web-resizing it is easier than Irfanview (which is without doubt a must-have free tool on any win-pc).
