By-Tor
I love it. It's amazing how much nicer the "polished bezel" DJ is. I've never liked the one with the "spiky" bezel. The Oyster bracelet with polished links make it perfect. Never liked the Jubilee, either. If I had to buy a DJ, I'd grab this exact same model. It's beautiful! And besides, everything on the watch looks spot on = quality piece.

Nightstroker
I have basically the same watch but in a DD....got it from Ruby and I love it to death.... After closer inspection of your watch I can see that your bar markers are better than mine....you actually have some lume....

w.genzo
Thanks guys, it's my first gen I picked it up recently in Geneve, so it's truly made from "swiss trained watchmakers" Even if I also like the old stile jubilee, I preferred the new style oyster if compared to the 2007 jubilee with hidden clasp. A bit too easy to scratch, but finally a decent clasp for the DJ, and a much better feeling imho. Reps are beautiful and a great hobby, I'd never go away from it, but every rolex lover should buy at least one gen someday.
By-Tor
Never been a DJ expert, but somehow it looked just a little bit too "spot on". Enjoy that beauty!
manuel
I was a bit sceptical about the watch, in the first picture I noticed that dial was genuine but I thought this was the classic game "guess what mods I have done" so I remained quiet thinking that you may have probably swapped the dial. However the crown in the clasp is bolder than I would have imagined in a gen rolex.

stilty
Nice! i was thinking gen when I first saw the pics, but wasn't 100% certain. I have that exact dial "gen" waiting for an upcoming project. what a beauty!

By-Tor
funny how crown does not line up: The crown "lining up" when screwed in is one of the stupid myths, just like the 2.5x magnification on all Rolexes. My old man has 5 gen Rolexes and the crown doesn't "line up" in ANY of them. It's all utter bs. Sometimes the crown DOES line up though... but it's complete luck of a draw. I don't know where these "facts" always come from. Just like Rolexes being heavy watches, etc.

Can I repeat what a lot of our true Rolex fans (so called experts) are saying: Rolex Service Centers are picking up what they have handy. Could be any type of date wheel or any generation of crystal, worse, a mix of them. And yes, Rolies are light Sometimes lighter than reps like solid midlink MBKs. stevethebest
DJ is the only gen RLX I would buy if I had cash... This new one is absolutely the best, silver dial is the best choice for a very elegant piece. Wear it well, friend. And since we are in this place let me congratulate also for your old style, blue dial jubilee DJ: it is an amazing replica, seeing it so close to the gen makes it even nicer ... Whom do you bought it from ?
lazarini
Steve regarding the blue dialed jubilee ... Might be wrong but i think he collected the parts and then Kelster help him build it Laz
