The SS band on this is the absolute best i've ever seen on a rep and overall the watch build and quality is top notch. The double AR is also amazing and as you can see in the pics the crystal literally disappears. If anyone was thinking about getting this one I would highly recommend it! As for difference with dials, the main difference is the placement of 'schaffhausen'. On the rep is is further left than on the gen. See.... The inner bezel is perfect and build quality is top notch. Angus has them in stock and he's always been good to me so I would recommend him. mikerblade Posted May 18, 2008 Report Share Posted May 18, 2008 Not picking faults ( 1st rep I bought was a Slevin) but do try to get a photo of your watch if you can, the biggest issue with them is the "swiss made" at the bottom being offset. Mines is slightly offset like Khurram's but after speaking to my collector he told me that some can be really bad & thats pretty much its main QC issue, other than that a nice IWC that I've no issues in recommending to buy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Angus was a very reliable dealer, unfortunately his customer service is getting worse and worse. I bought from him the same watch asking to check carefully the bezel alignment and the swiss made position. I asked several times and despite this i got a watch with a poor alignment. Obviously he dropshipped. Worst part of the story, after weeks, i'm still waiting a mail from him for the replacement. He want me to ship it back at my expenses and in advance. This is not the first disappointment with Pure Time for me and you can read many horror stories around about him. If you really want to be sure go with Precious time or Ruby. I am curious when you are speaking of bezel alignment - are you speaking of whether or not the white triangle on the bezel aligns well/perfectly with the chrono hand/12 o'clock position? (or perhaps I should ask, is that what you look at to determine the bezel alignment?) I am asking because I will probably order this watch from Ruby at some point (I have used her for my first rep and was very happy) and I want to stress what things I want her to look for). I can't answer for Khurram but that's exactly the way mine came from the dealer, mines came with the rubber strap & I got the metal band so I could switch.
