rkdk
I just got a lovely white faced silver dial roo in yesterday, and ive been wearing it ever since. The only problem with it, is that it keeps on stopping. after i swirl it around a bit, and put it on my wrist, it goes well for about 15 min, and then it stops. First i thought i wasnt moving enough to keep the power reserve up, but then i realized it always stops at exactly 0,45 seconds on the dial. Cant be a coincidence. I already wrote the dealer, so lets see what happens. I just dont want to live with out it for another month.
Samurai
Hope this is not the beginning of the end of the highly modified movement with sec @ 12. Keep us posted on what the dealer has to say about this. Cheers
perry563
Try SLOWLY winding it say 40-50 turns and then see what happens when you wear it for a while.
scoobs1971
Maybe one hand touches the other hand or a hand touches the dial or glass?
Sir-Lancelot
If it's stopping at the exact same place it could be a hand clearance issue.
Chicken Manny
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I was hoping for a good one this time. I already have an IWC sec-at-six paperweight. Hopefully just a clearance issue.....

arminvanbuuren
first case i've ever heard on the ap roo.. so im guessing this is only a one off issue.. if i remembered the daytona case and chs gmt II c correctly.. problems surfaced straight away after the watches have been released.. but yeah i doubt this is a secs @ 12 issue.. rather it's a qc issue
Guest carlsbadrolex
I have two of the sec at 12, both run perfectly. I saw the thread on another site with the pics of the movement taken apart. It seems to me that they did a pretty good job on this one. This is the first issue I have heard about.
trinsic
rkdk is causing unneccessary histeria!! The plank! Walk the plank! Aye aye Cap'n... *kidding* hope it's an isolated issue. Mine's on the way...

Maybe worst than yours. i wind for 40 rounds and it runs for a couple of mintues and then it stop. i shook and i ran then it stop in couple of minutes after that. Did you find a solution for it? comments from anyone? That is one of the reason i should get out of this rep collecting. I am asking King for a refund. let's see what she say. Don't get me wrong the watch is very nice but there is a major QC issue. I am having tough time push the crown back after pulled it out to wind. LegendofSpeed
wonder if it has anything to do with more torque being placed on the movement by the transfer assembly....
dvn
Just sent it back to King using EMS. I am asking for a refund. let's see if she agree or not. it coast lots of money to send it back using EMS but it is the only way imho. can't seem be able to get out of rep for the time being. supermanx
Let hope not, but I had the same thing happen with my last 2836 watch so I'll hold out getting too concerned until it becomes more prevelant.
rkdk
It could be just poorly serviced. It is the 7750 after all. It is supposed to have jewelled gears, so lets see what happens. I sent it back today via airmail. Hopefully the dealer will fix it, or send me a replacement. Its too bad, because the watch was fantastic otherwise. Not a flaw on it. Dizzy
has anyone opened one of these up to see if its actually jewelled or if its metal on metel like the daytonas?

cmetalprog
Good decision to send it back , it was just probably poor serviced but with high value watch it worth to send it back and getting either brand new one or fully serviced.
