V Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 From wearing too many PAMS... Bigger and heavier... CURE? Put the watch to the other wrist BTW that happened with a couple of hours costantly wearing the 'Anchor 187'
sevomd Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Hey Kostas I'm a medical doctor, but Dermatology just wasn't my thing. I just put people to sleeep zzzz... Might be some contact dermatitis may be from the case of the 187. But don't quote me on that. Eddy
Canuck88 Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 The other cure is to grow some hair on your arms which helps protect against this... I recommend renting the movie "The Peanut Butter Solution".
V Posted July 4, 2006 Author Report Posted July 4, 2006 Hey I'm just kidding.. probably it was an old layer of skin that it should fall off (like the snakes)
sevomd Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Hey I'm just kidding.. probably it was an old layer of skin that it should fall off (like the snakes) You can make a cool V-skin strap out of it. Send it to Aaron. Eddy
statikman Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 Holy [censored]! I was seriously planning on posting my watch tan line and permanent scar on my hand from Panerai CGs. The spot is completely insensitive to touch and is shaped exactly like a crown guard. Anybody else have this?
chris5264 Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 I do worry sometimes about the purity of the metal used in reps. I mean, we really have no idea what is mixed in with this stuff or what its origins are. Now, keep in mind I'm a totally paranoid person but I've even thought of taking my reps in to test for radioactivity, I mean who knows what types of quality control is involved in these cases? Of course, I thought that was a pretty crazy idea, but ended up finding a few stories of various metals that were discovered to be radioactive, in one case a watch bracelet with radioactive pins that was discovered on a trip to a nuclear power plant (Probably BS). Yes, it is a pretty crazy thing to worry about,,,I know

I wear my watches low on my wrist, so I've always had a permanent mark from the crowns

No radioactive activity involved for sure
dadog13 Posted July 4, 2006 Report Posted July 4, 2006 I've never had any problems with wearing watches...sorry to see a watch dependent to have such problems...give it a few days rest or wear the watch on the right hand...
rek001 Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 To me it looks like contact dermatitiis, because of the blistering and how localized it appears. You may be having a (GASP!) allergic reaction to you Pam. You poor guy.
jimmytim Posted July 5, 2006 Report Posted July 5, 2006 On the bright side, maybe just an incorrenctly adjusted strap causing the case to *rub* your skins too often at a certain force
