Paul,

like I just wrote in my PM I am now trying to find out why it is not working.

@all

If Paul says it works with other SIM cards - maybe someone else will be interested in one of these already in EU if we don't find another solution?

Ups delivered my vertu today but no charges.

Sadly it is not recognising my O2 sim card! So this is pretty paperweight for now!

Maciek is looking into this with dealer meanwhile I will contact O2 and see what they say.

I think this is new version of simcards which we have on market [you can see this problem with dualsim adapters] most of new cards is selling with UTMS [3g] services but they sell this new cards with standard GSM service too. I see this problem with prepay cards from O2 Ireland and Vodafone Germany with different phones from China. Maybe you can buy Iphone addapter [TornadoSIM, TurboSIM, X-SIM etc.] for simcard and this can resolve your problem.

If not maybe I will be interesting your phone.

Hi all,

Got my Vertu 10 mins ago from UPS.

Quick Note

1) No security code - works fine

2) Made 1 call and received one call - no problems, loud and clear

3) 3G sim card works.

Question

I only got one battery with it? Did anyone else receive 2 batteries?

I ll play with it for the rest of the week and let you guys know the experience!

So, am I under the correct impression that the U.S. gets no love?

I've been happily living cellular free for many years now; this one would have been the phone to pull me back in...

You should be able to use this at 1900 virtually anywhere that T-Mobile or AT&T have coverage. (I used a 1900 phone on AT&T for a couple of years, and had pretty good coverage throughout the US.)
