As some of you already know I am a big fan of Vintage Rolex's and have highly modded (by me) 1680, 1665 and a DW 6263 along with a LV and a 5517, oh and a Navitmer from Josh. I really like accuracy. Anyhow I have just come back from Hols (or vacation) and having seen a real PAM I am looking to buy one (can't afford a real one so a rep will have to do). So which models are the most accurate. BTW I don't want a chrono and I have only got small wrists. I would prefer vintage but don't mind either way. Also what mods would need to be done if any. My advice go for the simpler models such as base, 111 or 112, and have a pin changed with the correct one. Straps need to be purchased separately, rep straps suck big time. I am aware of the canon pin being too short but I believe they are obtainable and I could do that myself anyhow. I live in the UK so may check out PT as well. I believe Finepics is also into PAM's. I prefer the do it yourself option but starting with a good base, similar to buying MBW's and doing the mods yourself. Are the PAM's moddable? Also don't mind a solid back.
