Most used noun

According to an article in the local paper today, the most used noun in the English language according to the Concise Oxford English Dictionary is................................

Money...............................No

Sex..................................No

Celebrity..............................No

Its................................TIME!!

I would love to post the complete article, but its not on the papers website, and my archaic scanner has just said... time out!

An interesting quote is the saying " time is money".. sounds modern, well it was from Benjamin Franklin in 1748.

I will try to scan and copy the article tomorrow... it makes very interesting reading.

Well Alan Times a wasting, you better tell that printer it's times up, how many times have you tried already? Did you time it to see how long it took to time out?

I could go on but I better not :black_eye:

Thanks for those Puggy- The 1st one is most definetly what inspired our local journo!

Cos there aren't too many Oz journos capable of a new thought! However our local guy did do some research, and came up with an interesting view of "Time" Will try to post it here ASAP.
