New Panerai 8 days GMT rep?

I am usually not much into Panerais, but the "8 Days" with its horizontal power indicator has caught my eyes for some time.

Looks as it is finally a decent replica of it.. Not much info yet. Asian movement.

I like the GMT-function and date.. Is it a day/night indicator on the seconds subdial? What does the experts say?

It looks interesting...I, too am no expert, but the dial font is totally wrong in this version. But I guess it's a given in this fantasy watch.

I could live with it if date wheel was black (w/ white numbers) like the gen; even if the font was a little off... The white sort of kills it for me... the type of thing that screams rep a mile away.

I forgot to mention, but also the cannon pin is too short.

Better wait for a better version.

This is the GEN

and the josh replica is not look good for me too. It have a cheaper design.

I don't understand why the designers don't copy exactly the right dial, it's not difficult to have a black wheel date and the right font numbers and text.

Ouch, anton...this is my grail watch! I think this is the sexiest watch on the planet! Not sure if you have ever seen, held or worn the gen in person, but it is incredible. The rep folks will NEVER get this one perfect...the movement is in house, hand-wind and completely different from what is pictured for sale. This one has a long way to go but I am excited that they are trying!

PS...MOST watches, cars...luxury items in general, depreciate...mighty quickly, actually. If I had the coin, I'd buy the gen to this in a heartbeat and never regret it.
