HauteHippie
Mine looks pretty much like Jawo's... Mods are eqivalent, but I'm a fan of the SS bracelet. - V1 - Gen Swiss ETA with DWs - Double AR by me - Hour Markers Removed and Replaced with Superluminova
tomhorn
- Double AR by me You had to rub it in .... Mine will be off to you on an upcomming run ... then she'll just need a trip to The Zigmeister for lume.

simzger
hello, i am still not getting it. 1) which version has the crooked markers at 3,6,9? 2) which version has the white lume and which one has the off-white lume? 3) which one has the recessed subdials and which one not? 4) is there a V3 with V1 dial, double AR and correct datewheel font? if yes, who carries it? Simon V1: correct lume (just in 3/6/9/12 markers) - crooked markers though. Poor AR V2: incorrect lume (all markers) - missing sub-dials rings (little step down) - better double AR V3: correct lume - aligned markers - double AR In all models DW (day/date) must be replaced by genuine ETA. surfer
On the V3 the DW are much better then on the V1 and V2 version. Still it isnt as good as the genuine one, but for me and I think most of the people acceptable.
vmena
DW V3 is not bad but day and date fonts are not 100% equals:

eunomians
Real nice 3717's gentlemen! Well since there's a sudden resurgence in the ultra modified 3717, I thought that I'd reel out one of the first to have been fully modified a couple of years ago This watch started off as an E.L. special. It from the very first 3717 batch! I also figured I'd have HKTan make a custom strap for the 3717, so here's the first one that he made (took him several attempts to finally get the overall aesthetic/size worked out right). Zig slapped in a Swiss 7750 (thanks to a fine member here who sold it to me) along with ETA wheels. He also performed a Superlume upgrade. Anyhow, a historical watch for sure. Seadweller4000
Why am I the only one who does not receive his strap from Aaron??! Ordered mine over a year ago, he managed to put in a wrong adress two times now. Guess it's not meant to be. Looks so gorgeous on your 3717 guys!

jeff g
Like cheiftang I prefer the original ss bracelet on my 3717. My model is the original EL TW 3717. Mods include Ziggification of the date wheel...full bitchin lume, and 7750 servicing. Never did get the double AR. One of my top 5 watches of all time. boneventura
Second question is that I live in The Netherlands and I like to know if there is a webshop that I can trust in the EU that can deliver this watch ? The delivery time from Josh and Andrew to The Netherlands is 28 working days by airline. That's a long time Surfer, just ordered one from PT, 18 days delivery. Also check out member Hooky... he's a great local contact for us Dutch.. Edited March 1, 2010 by boneventura
