Franken Watch Thread

Hey guys, this topic is dedicated to all your most loved custumized or modified replicas.

Please post your favourite picture of your franken watches here and explain what has been done to it. This can be old or new eyecandy, main criterion is that your franken has at least one genuine (not aftermarket) part build in. B)

I think there are soo many beautiful and unique watches among us collectors and these deserve their own topic, what do you think?

I will start with my latest acquisition, my "Frankenstein's Monster" :p

IngyXmas2.jpg

Modifications: genuine dial, hands, genuine IWC cal. 79350 and aftermarket AR.

Looking forward to see many unique watches. This is what our hobby is about, right? :D

Great idea for a thread SD. Here are some of mine. Part of my criteria for calling a modded watch a Franken is that it must include a genuine dial in the ingredients:

PAM 090: Gen OPIX movement, Gen Dial, Gen Hands and Gen crown

pam090frankenondonenglifj3.jpg

PAM 003B: Gen T-Dial, Gen T-Hands and Gen crown

Omega SMP 2531.80: Genuine Dial, Gen Hands, Gen Crown/Tube, Gen He Valve, Chief Single AR

I'm a DateJust junky, I guess. The last picture is the beginning of my next, and last one. Gen 16200 case, gen dial and gen proper age jubilee bracelet. Just waiting for the movement to get back from Rex. I particularly like the leather gen Rolex band and buckle.

Both my beloved Explorer II's have gen parts, but the white one is a real frankenwatch. Pretty much the same watch as Dluddy's.

You have all seen it before.
