ta8088 Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 No - not a gen. It is the "Swiss case" quartz model from Mark Wang. (timeshops.net) Wow. Looks good. Might have to pick one up myself.
Stephane Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 I'm with Robbie. UPO for the last day of 2008
ta8088 Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Threw the Seawolf back on the bracelet for a while. It remains one of my favorites after almost a year. At some point if I find a good deal I might pick up a gen to go along with my gen CA:
Master Chief Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Dear all members, Happy new year!
abat Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Haven't worn this for a while so it is on my wrist to end the year:
Toadtorrent Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 TT...The Deepsea is definitely great value. I also find these cheap movements as reliable as the "ETA's". I have about 20 of them and have never had a problem over the last 4 years. And replacements are readily available. The Daytona is a 7750. Bought is several years ago and despite it's flaw (pusher not asymetrical) it's one of my favorite vintages. Great stuff. I'm with you on the Asian movements. Great value!! That Daytona is great!
Seadweller4000 Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Just can't get it off my wrist. Happy new year everyone!

TeeJay Posted December 31, 2008 Report Posted December 31, 2008 Not the best photo, but I'm still wearing my X-33 as mentioned before, changing the strap bought a new lease of life to both the watch and the strap, and I now actually really enjoy wearing it It might not be a 'smart' watch, it might not be particularly elegant, but, it's a watch worn by those who's job I wanted when I was younger (astronauts) and I think it's certainly a fun watch. Sure, the hands could be better, but hey, I like it
ammandel Posted January 2, 2009 Report Posted January 2, 2009 I'm a total newbie to the board, both of these watches must be gens surely?
