Time accuracy on Asian automatic movements

SBrat

Recommended Posts

I am new to the forum and have picked up 4 watches over the last 3 months-mostly Asian 7753/7750 based and 1 Swiss ETA powered Sub.

3 of my watches are running +15 to + 30 seconds per day and one is running -45 to -50 seconds per day. None of them have been serviced or regulated.

Would love to hear as to how the watches of other members have been behaving in terms of time accuracy.

If I was to have these regulated, how accurate could these get.

Thanks for your feedback.

I have no complaints with the Asian movements in a handful of reps I have. I have only had one that ran super fast, but I was able to tune it myself and it too works great.

Since I rarely wear the same watch longer than a week, any deviation is never really noticed. (I don't keep them on winders, so they eventually stop, and get reset upon my next wear.)

i PERSONALLY never had an asian movement run within acceptable timmings out of the box. you can regulate them fairly well tho. my 4813 was keeping +4 a day BUT when the date change drags over from 1030pm-midnight it slows the minute hand down and it loses time that way.... that wouldnt happen on a swiss ETA
